About Hilltop Swim Academy

Hilltop Swim Academy focuses on the Learner, creates an environment that is safe and nurturing and promotes the importance of swimming as an essential life skill.

CORE VALUES:

RESPECT

We build trust and mutual respect by working together to support the needs of each learner. We are committed to act with integrity in all communications between clients, swim school personnel and management.

COMMUNITY

We build positive relationships with our families through recreation and social opportunities and provide a collaborative environment promoting a strong sense of community spirit through active participation in sport.

SAFETY

Accidents can be preventable, therefore, safety is the responsibility of every person working in, using and enjoying our facility.

Safety comes first in everything we do from the teaching of our program to the continual education for all clients and staff.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND SERVICE

We believe that quality education and professional development for all Swim School personnel is the key to continual improvement. All Swim Instructors are qualified through Swim Australia and Austswim.

We keep our Pool within the NSW Health Standards adhering to the Royal Lifesaving Society’s Guidelines for Safe Pool Operation(GSPO) and practice note 15.

We will continually review, seek feedback, measure and improve our teaching and service performance to ensure consistency and excellence in our program structure and Swim School standards.

INDIVIDUAL LEARNING

We offer a range of small and manageable classes that are directed at individual learning.

We recognise the importance of differentiation within our lessons and believe that children have different needs and develop at different rates.

Our staff are highly passionate about what they do and know what it takes to give the gift of swimming to everyone.
